Marriage Preparation

If you are getting married, please contact Fr. Collin at least 6 months prior to your wedding date. There are several ways to spiritually prepare for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony:

1) Pre-Cana is a set of classes for engaged coupes, which are held each Spring and Fall at St. Mary's. Couples must meet with the priest who will perform the ceremony before attending pre-cana classes.

Registration is handled through the Archdiocese of Baltimore.

Go to  http://www.archbalt.org/marriage-family/preparation/index.cfm for complete information.

2) Weekend Encounter for the Engaged. All preparation sessions are included in this weekend retreat. See above link for more information.

3) Sponsor Couples - a married couple will mentor an engaged couple during your preparation. Contact Irene to make arrangements.

Contact Irene Wunderlich at the parish office (301-739-0390 x128) with any questions.
